The Council for Nail Disorders offers two grant programs to support research and best clinical practice in the field of nail disorders.

CND Mentoring Award

To help develop young leaders with investigative interest and expertise in nails, CND has created a mentorship program with established investigators [clinicians/ researchers/ academicians].

The intent is to foster mentoring relationships to encourage young investigators and clinicians (medical and podiatry students, residents, post doctoral fellows, and junior faculty) to acquire academic or investigative skills that will advance their careers as leaders in nail research.

 CND Clinical Research Grant

The Council for Nail Disorders offers grants to support investigations in basic science and in clinical research in the field of nail disorders. The awarded grants have led to publications and NIH grant support. CND is proud of the accomplishments of previous grant recipients and looks forward to new and stimulating proposals as it expands this program. Research grants have been funded by unrestricted educational grants from pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis and Pfizer.

For the 2017 Application cycle, the CND is not offering research grants.  We do plan on rebuilding our funds and continuing this needed research funding in the future.
